I wanted a few days ago to write about something and of course, I told myself not to forget...And guess what, I forgot !:D And it was a pretty darn good topic....Anyway...
I'll write about the fact that students post photos of themselves in the hospital, wearing the regular surgery costume, I really don't know how it's called. What's the point? I mean, yeah, you are a student at a certain Uni. Why do you have to post photos of you in the surgery room, or on the hallway, or at the emergency center, or simply the kind of photos chicas make, you know, the hi5 type of photo with friends in the white coat...Why? Do you want to state the obvious, that you are a med student, and oh how much I love medicine, or you simply want to show them that yo homie, I've been there, I've taken a photo of myself to show you!? I simply can't understand, it exceeds my limit of thinking. I'm not jealous or something, because I can go there if I want to, and I did, and I do go to the emergency center, just that I don't show it...Let's not forget about the photos with "the goods" (dead body, pieces of organs etc.) - that is just wrong and sick, you are not Lady GaGa! (I love her extravaganza)...Ok, maybe they do it to show their friends that they are ok, they like it, maybe love it...but why can't you take it to private? I mean, why don't you call your friends and tell them how you're doing, why don't you skype them (it's free + you can make "eye-contact")? This kind of activity reminds me of people who go to church only to "fashion police" the others. I remember the last time I've been to curch, it was with my gramma a few years ago ( 6-7) I heard some ladies talking about another lady's outfit. I was a bit shocked, back them I used to believe in God and all those bullshits :D
Maybe I'm oldschool, which is extremely likely to be true, but I don't get it. And just from curiosity, I checked the albums of my friends who are at Uni outside, and they don't have such photos (at courses, at hospitals etc.) so I'm presuming it's a national thing? To brag...Maybe I'm wrong, so anyone who wants to tell me the contrary, please do!
And of course checking in at hospitals, this is also included. Personally, I like it when people check in at restaurants or at clubs because, maybe I forgot about a certain club, or I don't know about it, so, I go check it out. But checking in at hospital, that is definitely not on my "like list" (that is also bragging)...
So people, when you'll be a real person, right now you are only half of a real person, it's appropriate to do these kind of things, refering at the checking in part, not a the photo posting part (in my oppinion, but of course, anyone can say different than me:D )
